The Washington Examiner’s February 2025 article on judges who blocked “government efficiency” moves states that federal records show Engelmayer, while at WilmerHale, “personally donated nearly $30,000 to Democratic candidates between 1992 and 2010,” with Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign among the largest beneficiaries. The same piece cites a Daily Caller News Foundation report.

Those dollar figures are the outlets’ arithmetic. This site does not independently re-sum itemized receipts into a single total and does not treat “nearly $30,000” as a Fact sentence.
